GMBIQ, available at gmbiq.com, is operated by WEBSHUNYA STUDIO (OPC) PVT LTD (“GMBIQ”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you. It applies when you visit our website, create an account, connect a Google Business Profile, use GMBIQ, or contact us.
By using GMBIQ, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the platform.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you create an account, subscribe, configure GMBIQ, or contact us, you may provide:
- Your name, email address, phone number, business name, and login details
- Business locations, platform settings, and reply preferences
- Billing address and tax information
- Messages, files, or other information sent to support
Our payment service provider handles card and banking information. GMBIQ does not store complete card or bank account numbers.
Information received from Google
If you connect a Google account, we may receive information covered by the permissions you approve, including:
- Your Google account name and email address
- Google Business Profile details, such as business name, address, phone number, category, hours, and listing status
- Reviews and ratings, including review text, star rating, public reviewer name, date, and existing replies
- Business Profile performance information made available by Google
We do not access unrelated services such as Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Photos, Contacts, or YouTube unless a future feature clearly requests that access and you approve it.
Information collected automatically
We may collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser, device, operating system, language, time zone, pages visited, features used, session information, error logs, and cookie data described in Section 10.
Google API Services User Data
GMBIQ uses Google APIs to display permitted Business Profile information, help you manage reviews, and publish replies you approve.
GMBIQ’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
In particular:
- We request only the permissions needed to provide the features you use
- We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing GMBIQ features
- We do not sell Google user data
- We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, or personalised advertising
- We do not use Google user data to train or improve general-purpose or non-personalised AI or machine-learning models
- We do not allow people to read Google user data unless you give permission, access is required for security or support, the data is aggregated or de-identified for internal operations, or access is required by law
- We disclose Google user data only when needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect users or the platform, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards
You can remove access through GMBIQ, where available, or through Google’s third-party connections page. Features that depend on your Business Profile will then stop working.
How We Use Your Information
GmbIQ’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use information to:
- Create, authenticate, and manage your account
- Connect to and display information from your Google Business Profile
- Organise reviews and generate AI-assisted draft replies
- Publish or send information only when you instruct us to do so
- Process subscriptions, invoices, and payments
- Provide support and respond to questions
- Send service notices, security alerts, billing messages, and other essential communications
- Send product news or marketing messages when permitted, with an option to unsubscribe
- Monitor performance, fix errors, and improve usability
- Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents
- Meet legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations
We process information only when we have a lawful reason, such as providing the service, complying with law, pursuing a legitimate business purpose, or acting with your consent.
AI and Machine Learning
GMBIQ uses Logic base AI model/Agent to create draft responses to customer reviews. Unless you deliberately enable an automatic publishing feature, you can review, edit, approve, or reject each draft before it is published.
To generate a draft, GMBIQ may send the relevant review text and limited business context, such as the business name, category, language, and reply preferences, to an AI service provider through its API. We limit the information sent to what is reasonably needed for the requested output.
We use service terms and settings designed to prevent GMBIQ customer data from being used to train general-purpose AI models and require providers acting for us to protect the information they process.
AI-generated content can be inaccurate or unsuitable. You are responsible for checking a reply before publishing it and ensuring it does not disclose confidential, sensitive, or unlawful information.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share limited information with:
- Google, when you connect a profile, retrieve permitted data, or ask GMBIQ to publish a reply or perform another action
- AI service providers, when needed to generate the draft or other AI-assisted output you request
- Payment service providers, for subscription billing, payment processing, fraud prevention, and invoices
- Hosting, database, email, analytics, monitoring, and customer-support providers, when needed to operate and secure the platform
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors, when reasonably necessary
- Authorities or other parties, when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud
- A buyer, investor, or successor, as part of a merger, financing, restructuring, acquisition, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and privacy protections
Our service providers may use information only for the work they perform for us or as otherwise permitted by their agreements and applicable law.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide GMBIQ, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- Account and service information is normally kept while your account remains active
- When you close your GMBIQ account, account information is scheduled for deletion or anonymisation from active systems within 90 days, unless we must keep it for legal or security reasons
- Google API data is scheduled for deletion from active systems within 30 days after you disconnect your Google account or close your GMBIQ account, unless retention is required by law
- Billing and transaction records may be retained for the period required under applicable tax, accounting, and corporate laws
- Backup copies are protected and removed through our normal backup rotation, which may take up to 90 additional days
- Aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify you may be kept for analytics and service improvement
You may request account or data deletion by emailing support@webshunya.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration, and disclosure. These safeguards include secure transmission, access controls, monitoring, and measures appropriate to the nature of the data and the service.
No online service can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
If a data breach affects your rights or information, we will investigate and provide notice where required by applicable law.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access or receive a copy of your personal information

- Request limits on processing or a portable copy of eligible information

To make a request, email support@webshunya.com. We may verify your identity and will respond within the time required by applicable law.
You can also disconnect Google access or close your GMBIQ account. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing, and we may retain information when legally required.
International Data Transfers
GMBIQ is operated from India. We and the providers that support the platform may process information in India and other countries. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.
Where applicable law requires additional protection for an international transfer, we use an appropriate legal mechanism and reasonable contractual, organisational, or technical safeguards.

Cookies and Tracking
GMBIQ may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, protect accounts, understand product usage, and improve performance.
These may include:
- Essential cookies, which are required for login, security, and core platform features
- Preference cookies, which remember choices such as language or display settings
- Analytics cookies, which help us understand how visitors and customers use GMBIQ
We do not use Google API user data for advertising, and we do not use advertising or retargeting cookies unless this policy and the relevant consent choices are updated before that use begins.
You can control non-essential cookies through any cookie controls we provide and through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of GMBIQ from working correctly.
Children's Privacy
GMBIQ is a business platform and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly ask children to create accounts or provide personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to GMBIQ, contact support@webshunya.com, and we will review and delete it where appropriate.
Third-Party Links and Services
GMBIQ may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services, including Google and services used for payments, support, or other platform functions. We do not control these third parties, and this Privacy Policy does not cover information they collect or process for their own purposes.
Review a third party’s privacy policy before providing information directly to it. A link or integration does not mean we endorse all of its practices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our service, providers, or legal obligations change. We will update the date at the top of the page and, when a change is material, provide an additional notice through the platform, by email, or by another appropriate method before the change takes effect where required.
